Anna Marie Martino
Anna Marie Martino has worked on both sides of the footlights with County Players since 1981. She is currently their President, serves as Publicity and Program Chair, and is one of their Honorary Lifetime Members. Previous Board positions include Vice President and Treasurer.
Anna Marie is originally a “Hoosier,” moving from Indiana to New York in 1980. Her passion for theatre began in elementary school, continued through high school, and then at Ball State University, where majored in education and minored in theatre and dance. While attending Ball State, she also volunteered at Muncie Civic Theatre.
She developed an extensive theatre background – as an actor, director, and choreographer. She has been onstage in over fifty productions. Her County Players’ directing credits include Jekyll & Hyde, World Goes ‘Round, Cabaret, A Secret Garden, A Chorus Line, Little Shop of Horrors, West Side Story, Oliver! and You Can't Take It With You.
Her greatest accomplishment in life is being mother to her vivacious daughter, Micaran. Anna Marie holds a degree in School District Administration and works for Dutchess BOCES as Director of Communications & Grants Research. She sincerely thanks Micaran and her true love, Harry. Without their support, the hours that she spends volunteering and enjoying her passion in life would not be possible. |
