Hands On! Hudson Valley is a central coordinating agency for recruitment, training and placement of volunteers in non-profit agencies and programs in Dutchess County. Since its incorporation in 1974, this organization has referred over thousands of individuals for volunteer positions in the community.

By registering your agency in our online database, we can best match your needs with our volunters. Be sure to check out our "Do's and Don'ts" for attracting/recruiting and retaining volunteers.

The first step is to complete a Nonprofit Agency Profile. The profile will enable us to help you find the right volunteer match for you. Once your profile is activated, you can return to the site as often as you like and search through our online listing of volunteer profiles. We'll even make sugges"stions based on your profile. You can submit requests for specific volunteers and we will assist you in setting up your volunteer engagements. In addition, your agency profile will be available to volunteers who will contact us to inquire about volunteering for your agency. You can also post events or short term volunteer needs. These notices will appear on the web site home page and the volunteer home pages. Volunteers can use these postings to volunteer for the events.
